RECOMMENDED: Knitted fabric is very slippery on wood floors. Highly recommend sewing in suede bottoms to the sole of the foot to gain some traction and prevent falls, or putting some puffy paint on the sole of the slippers. This article gives some good suggestions: How to make slippers non-slip.
