Double Knitting
Double knitting on a loom creates a 2-sided fabric, with no backside. The process requires 2 rows of pegs with an opening in between them. Yarn is wrapped across the loom to utilize both rows of pegs and interlock the stitches. It’s a great method for working with color designs. See videos for both ‘flat panel’ on long looms/knitting boards and ‘in the round’ with the ‘Rotating’ Double Knit Loom.
