INSTRUCTIONS
This afghan is worked in a flat piece. Do not connect the last stitch to the first stitch on the loom. Cast on all 198 pegs.
Row 1: Single e-wrap stitch to the end of the row.
Row 2: Purl to the end of the row.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until panel measures 60” long.
Remove item from the knitting loom using the Basic Bind Off method.
Option: Add fringe to the cast-on edge and to the bind-off edge of the blanket. Weave ends in.
Cast On: Start with a loop knot and place on first peg ( by arrow). Begin ewrap cast on from right to left and work each peg around the loom. Wrap yarn in counterclockwise method around pegs.
When you reach the last peg, work that peg, then reverse and work back, wrapping again in opposite direction. Note: the first and the last peg should NOT be connected. Each peg should now have 2 loops. Lift the bottom loop over the top loop on all pegs. First row complete.
Purl Stitch
This stitch is the reverse of the knit stitch. Place working yarn below the loop on the peg being worked. Insert the hook from top of loop, grab working yarn and pull under loop and lift off peg. Replace the new loop onto peg.
The Purl stitch is used in combination with the Ewrap or the Knit Stitch or the stitch to prevent a knitted piece from curling.
