Row 1: sl1, k to end.
Row 2: sl1, p30, k1.
Repeat Row 1 and 2, 2 more times.
Next row: repeat Row 1.
Row 8: sl1, p9, k17, p4, k1. Row 9: sl1, k to end.
Repeat Row 8 and Row 9, 24 more times (48 rows total).
Repeat Rows 1 and 2, 3 more times.
Bind off with basic bind off method.
Lay panel on a flat surface, wrong side up, wide garter stitch band at the bottom of the panel. Fold panel in half. Mattress stitch seam from the bottom (wide garter stitch section) to the top, approximately 5 inches. Leave a 1.5” opening, then continue mattress stitch seam up to the top. Repeat with second wrister.
Weave in all ends.
