I am so new at this. Is this all of the pattern? Is there a scarf attached as looking at the picture there is but then maybe the scarf is made separate. I am having to think and think these through, sometimes I am so slow at the process.
Thanks
Carla
This is a very simple pattern. It is made one one piece, the knitting starts out working in the round for the cowl, and then, changes to flat panel knitting to create the opening for the hood. A scarf is not part of the pattern.
Is there a video for this pattern please??
Hi Leslie,
There is a video for a very similar pattern. You can use for the process but I look at the pattern, I think there is slight different amount of rows.https://www.knittingboard.com/hooded-pixie-cowl-on-zippy/
It appears that the go for faux yarn by lion brand which this pattern calls for comes in different weights. Can you please tell me which weight is used to achieve the same results as the photo above of the hooded cowl?
Many thanks in advance
