TIPS FOR USING THE FLEXEE LOOM FOR A BLANKET
The full loom can be laid out across your lap and only rotating the loom and links as each stitch is worked.
This prevents any awkwardness in holding the loom.
When using a large number of links, always fold up the loom before lifting using the entire hand around the loom. Especially when the work gets heavy.
Note: Knitting blankets with the Flexee Loom has a big visual advantage… you can see all of your work before the knit comes off of the loom and you can measure more accurately. Just unlink between the ends and lay the work out on a flat surface. The loom will adjust itself to allow for the tension as seen in this picture.

I would like to visualize this pattern but the picture of the knitting don’t make it clear enough for a new knitter. Could you make a grid to show how the purl vs knit stitches?
It dose not say what the cast on stitch is or what knit stitch to use. Can you use the e wrap knit stitch?
It does need to be the traditional knit stitch or the ‘u’knit stitch. The ewrap knit will not look the same.
E-wrap will definitely not look the same. Use whichever form of knit whether it js the true knit or u-wrap knit stitch that is the same size/tension as your purl stitch.
As for the cast on, you can use whichever cast on you like since it is not a stitch or a row. Only the foundation that the rest of the project is built on.
what am i doing wrong ? I`m using the small flexee loom.96 pegs.i`m using the u knit stitch and it is very tight. the yarn is worsted weight no.4 i`m doing the zig zag blanket. can this only be done on the chunky flexee loom?
It can be made on the skinny gauge with worsted weight. But it will be much smaller when finished.
You need to used whichever method of knit stitch that matches the tension of your purl stitches. That is why I always use the true knit stitch. U-wrap knit stitch is tighter making it smaller than the purl stitch. You can use it if you loosen the stitch so it will match the tension of your purls.
What method of bind off did you use for the joyful zig zag blanket?
The basic bind off was used in the pattern.
Hi!
I can only find the yarn I would like to use in Bulky and Jumbo. I plan on using the bulky are there any adjustments I need to make to the pattern or anything I should take into consideration?
